Duck Creek Duck Creek Village is located on Scenic Highway 14 between Cedar City and Long Valley Junction. The village is just 29 miles from interstate 15 and 10 miles from Highway 89. This rout, recognized as one of Utah's premiere scenic highways, is an excellent paved road for travel between the many destinations of Southern Utah and is well-maintained by snowplow through the winter months.

This 30 mile long rim is dotted with trails which either access the rim or follow its contour. Hiking, Mountain Biking, X-Country Skiing and Snowmobiling are prime along this magnificent view point. Zion, Bryce and even the Grand Canyon North Rim are visible from points along the rim. The lakes, rivers and streams of this area are filled with Rainbow, Brook, German Brown and Cutthroat Trout. You'll find some trophy size fish in nearby Panguitch Lake.

This area is also known as the Markagunt Plateau and is part of the Dixie National Forest. Close by are a myriad of scenic attractions and areas for a wide range of activities. In the winter the region around Duck Creek Village is a snowmobile Mecca. Visitors also enjoy cross-country (x-country) skiing and snowshoeing. Nearby Brian Head Ski, Snowboard and Summer Resort is an excellent place to enjoy downhill skiing.

In the warmer months Duck Creek Village and the surrounding area are full of beautiful meadows, wildflowers, wildlife and trails which extend in all directions for hiking, mountain biking, ATV riding and much more. Fishing in local lakes and streams is excellent for rainbow and other trout. This part of southwestern Utah is ideal for scenic and wildlife photography.
